Best place to meet dogs? Pet supply store.
If you want to overdose on petting new dogs, visit your local pet supply store. We just returned from a trip today. Besides meeting Lulu’s nearly exact twin (except a few pounds lighter), we encountered the stars of the moment, 2 Newfies. They were young, so weren’t even that large, but they were still BIG. And drooling, of course. An astonished teenager timidly stepped forward to pet one and asked, “Are they really that big?” I’m sure that’s not what she meant, but she sure sounded stupid.
The biggest dog I’ve ever petted, outside of the Golden Gate Kennel Club Show, was a massive mastiff lounging around at REI. That dog took up an entire aisle. He drooled too, of course. We love droolers, as long as they belong to someone else.
In other dog news, Zipper may soon lose some of her dog credentials. When I accidentally drop food, unless it’s right in front of her, she doesn’t go after it. Or if she does, she takes her time. Meanwhile, Lulu is there in a split second to snatch up whatever loose morsel there is to be had. I fear that Zipper has lost her peripheral vision, but that doesn’t explain why she doesn’t smell the food. And she really DOES care about food. So I’m afraid the dog inspectors are going to rescind some of her credentials as a Class A Dog, even if she is 13 years old.

Good dispatch and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Gratefulness you for your information.
We once had someone in a park in L.A. try to give us 2 young neufies. Since we were already the proud owners of 3 large dogs, including 1 neufie, we declined. Very sweet dogs with very much hair!
